@SteveWarneMedia I agree. The extra point is non sense. If they want to continue to reward a losing team in OT with a point, then make a regulation win 3pts, 2pts for winner in OT. This way, the extra point is much less significant!

@senstalk_ @ph_swiss Why not just send down Forsberg and Hamonic? They will have to clear waivers which is fine. Once they do, then call up Leevi. That would free up 4M in cap space. Simple...no?

Blame the past regime all you want for the #Sens cap situation but eventually you’ve gotta look in the mirror - and we are certainly at that point in my opinion. PD didn’t do us any favours but he’s been gone nearly two years. We’ve had plenty of time to fix our cap situation. It’s wild how we can barely make an AHL call up let alone pull off a trade. Unfortunately this is the situation we’re in though - Staios seems to be a savvy GM, I’m confident he’ll find a way to upgrade this team and make it work…but the clock is ticking.
