Looking at this tournament and wondering how Shreyas Iyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal can't make it to our T20 team, not to mention Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
The fact is, if you are truly a champion, generational side, there will always be extremely capable players who will not get the number of games they deserve.
Think of Brad Hodge, Kasparovic and Stuart McGill for Australia in the 2000s, or Sylvester Clarke, Winston Benjamin, Wayne Daniel, Anthony Gray - all West Indian fast bowlers of the 80s who would have walked into other national sides.
The curse of being a top team is that someone deserving will definitely miss out.
Now think of the deserving Indian bowlers who you think are not getting a chance, and that list looks a lot smaller. Tells you where our strength lies.

@Deadlykalesh Scooty attempting impossible overtake from the wrong side stalled ahead of a fast moving vehicle..... that's the correct description of the accident.

#1 reason for India to maintain cordial relations with all manner of Mickey Mouse countries is that we never know when we'll have to evacuate a bunch of capitation fee college kids out of there.

The real victims of the Galgotia university AI debacle and other such places are the parents from smaller towns and villages with no way of judging the merit of an institution and getting convinced with a great brochure, a snazzy campus, and the promise of their children getting a better future.
Often, land is sold or huge loans are taken just for admission to these places.
We really need a not for profit organization with volunteers just to advise such parents, and point out the obvious issues with some of these prospects and guide parents and their wards.
I am sure there are enough bright people who have flourished thanks to our heavily subsidised public education system, who now have the time after retirement to give back to the system.
