Drew, who earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Drexel, now works with the North Carolina Zoo to protect wildlife and wild places primarily through support of our conservation projects, implementing @SMARTCnsvTools software across Africa. Thanks for all you do, Drew!

Meet Mawadda our Education #InternSpotlight She enjoys educating guests about invertebrates at the touch pool. She graduated in 2020 with a major in Sustainable Materials and Technology. After being an educator at the @NCZoo she wanted to continue working in environmental edu.

Heads up for anyone visiting the Zoo tomorrow! 🚨 The Africa plaza entrance, plaza, & parking lots, will be closed on Monday, June 26. All guests must enter through North America! The African animal habitats will be open, so you can still see your favorite African species!
