I remember one year my dad forgot my birthday. I was like 19. Didn't call/text nothing.
I was used to the inconsistency.
But my mom booked an appointment to get my hair done as a gift. I was so excited. My hair dresser was so nice! We connected and she mentioned her birthday passed as well. I asked her what she did and she said "i worked!" I told her that sucked & she then proceeds to tell me her client brought her a cake and balloons so it was ok.
