SURELY my esports industry colleagues will now issue scathing public condemnations of EG's utterly incompetent leadership, which ran a legacy team into the ground. After all, they've previously shamed team CEOs for the act of making tweets, and this is clearly much, much worse.

The quality of the caster directly correlates to how much value they add to a broadcast. The same is true w/ all the folks not on camera, we all amplify each others work! The fact that it's a caster w/ this take speaks volumes about how you view the quality of your own work IMO.

I ageee, but here’s another hot take while I’m cooking: Most FF (and many JRPG) stories aren’t actually that great imo. Characters are amazing, but plots often jump the shark and aren’t well told or presented, and usually bloated to all hell compared to stories in other media.
