CKB Dev↾⇃@CKBdev·
CKB is entering a mature phase. Our work is shifting toward deeper optimization, faster verification, and reproducible infrastructure. Recent highlights: - Optimized SP1 verification: Reduced cycles from ~6000M to ~63M (~100x improvement) - SMT verification performance reached a production-viable level - ARM64 optimizations: streamlined Zba instruction handling by removing redundant ops Meanwhile, a new discussion is underway: Activating the Nervos DAO Treasury, exploring a shift to an on-chain, governance-controlled model Dev Logs will now move to a monthly cadence, reflecting a more focused, incremental development cycle. 🚴Fiber Dev Log 25 🚴 Security & reliability level-up - We added expiry safeguards to stop funds from getting stuck if a node goes quiet. - Cross-Chain Hub (CCH) can now run as its own service, meaning better scalability for those high-traffic routing nodes. Architecture upgrades - We've unified the storage layer with native SQLite support, keeping things light and efficient. - RPC layer got refactored and now uses Public Keys instead of peer IDs Better efficiency - Several heavy background processes were replaced with more efficient task spawning Now prepping RC for acceptance testing → v0.8.0 coming soon! Features include onion routing and inbound flood protection. github.com/nervosnetwork/… @NervosNetwork

We shipped Fiber Dashboard. Why? Because we kept getting asked: "Is Fiber dead?"/"Anything actually happening?"/"Hello??" ...fair questions, honestly. Fiber is running, but to most people, it's just invisible. Data is scattered across on-chain txs and individual nodes, with no unified view. Getting a clear picture of the real state has always been a challenge. We believe a truly usable L2 shouldn't just live in code, logs, or RPC interfaces. It should be seen, understood, and trusted. So here is the dashboard, a real-time view of the network: node distribution, channel activity, overall health, etc. Now check out what's happening on Fiber: dashboard.fiber.channel and the notes from one of the builders: talk.nervos.org/t/fiber-networ… @NervosNetwork

I almost wish this would’ve landed after Claw and Order had wrapped up. You wouldn’t ask a Labrador to wait next to a bowl of food for another week. Could be a #nervosnetwork SPINCS+ enabled hardware wallet one day, is likely to be the host board for the Blackbox v2 prototype. Powered by an #espressif esp32-p4 and c6 co-processor for wifi6. 360mHz dual core main processor, 16mb flash, 32mb psram, 4.3” 800x480 cap touch, Crypto hardware acceleration, eFuse key storage, integrated JPEG codec, fine grained access control. Enough exposed gpio’s that an external secure element chip could be tested, could test out fingerprint bio, add a Lora module. Powerful hardware, willing blockchain, endless possibilities. Be playing around with this bad boy over the coming months.

Recent CKB development work: - We implemented 4 optimizations in the Aarch64 RISC-V handler in CKB-VM and benchmarked their impact. Fuzzing is being added before upstreaming. - A feasibility study for verifying SP1 zkVM proofs directly on CKB is complete. The approach appears workable, giving CKB the ability to verify mainstream zkVM proofs on-chain. - The bn128 library for RISC-V 64 has been released, enabling more efficient elliptic curve operations inside CKB-VM. - QUIC transport support in Tentacle is under investigation. - On-chain governance in design.
