Been thinking about milady again. Most miss the point on why it became a cultural phenomenon. Milady offered a counter-culture identity to digital anons that were disillusioned with the brainrot hr-friendly linkedin internet culture. They made it costly to join during peak cancel culture era (2021-2022ish) and turned shock marketing experiments (e.g. kanye and nazis) into performance art. This selection pressure resulted in a group of zealots. P.S. Their network spirituality gospel is trans-rational. It doesn't engage with discourse of the day. It transcends it by imitating the move Christ used when faced with the accusations of the grand inquisitor. milady.
