One year on: a major milestone for the @NHS in England It’s now been one year since the first UK patients began receiving medicines made from UK‑donated plasma. 💙 Now, more than 3,000 NHS patients have received immunoglobulin medicines since treatments began in March 2025.

The room where it (didn’t) happen. A @NHSBT blood donation session in a synagogue was cancelled minutes before starting because their staff felt unsafe. That session usually collects ~100 pints -saving up to 300 lives. The duty manager didn’t try to resolve her concerns.
