@BobChoate54 They cannot remove her, because she was elected. There was talk at a recent meeting to impact the treasurers role. We'll see if that picks up again after this latest arrest.

@NickABC13 She's the treasurer of County Harris. Residents of the county are her employer, but ... and I could be incorrect... but I believe that the Commissioners Court has some range of oversight.
