Getting ready for ConnectEd visit next week!

Busy in class trying to get caught up! Hospitality had menu copy cat recipe and made Panda Express orange chicken! ProStart 1 made bordelaise sauce over sliders and had a fun salad bar with homemade dressing!

Starting next week, ESV attendees will tour four NKC high schools to see the work of career-connected learning in action. They’ll meet directly with district leaders and will participate in collaborative deep-dive sessions that drive instructional transformation.

What does it look like when an entire district commits to a unified, collaborative approach to college and career pathways? NKC Schools is about to show it again. This year’s Experiential Site Visit offers a fresh, up‑close look at a system that’s fully aligned and delivering.

Such a great event today @williamjewell for our School of Design, Innovation, and Technology Computer Science students. They were able to create their own app and then pitch it to their peers. Our students had an amazing time and can’t wait until next year!

Our Northgate team had a few visitors before Winter Break! Thanks @SheriffClayCo and @JCSheriffOffice for bringing drones and sharing with our students! Also, huge thanks to @STEMKC for the awesome grant awarded to our Northgate PLTW team! Now we can start our own drone program!

Closing out an awesome semester in the Future Ready Lab, getting to hear from current and past interns on the incredible opportunities NKC Schools provides through Pathways and Early College.

Clardy 5th graders got future ready in our Future Ready Lab today! With STEAM opportunities like costume design and robot programming, students learned through creativity and innovation.

Our 6th graders stepped into the real world at our Game of Life event! From managing budgets to handling surprise costs, students learned important life skills while having fun.
