NOHS Baseball held their banquet last night to wrap up the 2026 season. 23-7 Record, #1 RPI Ranked Team in the 8th Region, PBR Top-25 All Season, Most Wins Since 2022, 2 Consecutive Regional Championship Appearances, 5 Wins Over Ranked Teams, 3 Wins Over State Tournament Teams.

Congratulations to Hayden Barnett, Gabe Kuerzi, and Jackson Bowen on being named to the 2026 8th Region All-Tournament Team! Barnett got the W over Henry County 6 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 11 K; Kuerzi .571, .727 OBP, 1 2B, 1 3B, 7 RBI; Bowen .364, 3 2B, 3 RBI, 6 R.

The NOHS Baseball season came to an end last night w/a loss in the regional final. It was a great season w/a great group of young men. Mustangs finish 23-7 as district & regional runner-up. Second year in a row North reached the regional final. Most of the squad returns for 2027!

‘27 RHP Gabe Cuerzi (@NOHSbsb) lived 86-89 w/ life in relief. Breaking ball worked mid 70s & was able to spin it for Ks (clip). Loose arm that projects. Strong frame that will continue to fill out. Long levers that work in sync w/ the foundation. #PGHS @GabeKuerzi
