Fraud crackdown is the best message going into the midterms. If the GOP can show big $$ is being stolen from honest Americans - in democrat controlled states - there is a chance to buck the historical norm of the incumbent party being clobbered. But Iran is a heavy albatross.

@HaroldWren22 As far as I can tell, Russia's navy is functionally non existent and they haven't been a power since Tsushima. The UK, as sad as their fleet is, far outclasses Russia.

“It will hurt America’s economy too” Dear Europe: Most Americans love you. Most Americans don’t care how you govern yourselves. Most Americans (especially the center and left) don’t even care that our taxes pay for your security. I warned a year or two ago that Americans will shrug off insults for years and just roll our eyes…. until we don’t. That’s how the American psyche works. We don’t care until we do. Then we all get pissed off at once and do something irrational. I don’t know why. It just is. The entire left and big portions of the right aren’t pleased that we hit Iran. Many would agree with the points you’re making. But at the end of the day, we are Americans. We will give you a long leash, but when it runs out, we jerk the chain back hard. NOBODY wants the Strait of Hormuz to remain shut. Nobody, or at least very few, want Europeans to suffer a massive energy crisis. But frankly, we are fed up with the rhetoric. And if you don’t think we’ll cut off our nose to spite our face, you don’t know Americans at all. You can push and jeer and mock and scorn us for years, even decades. But when Americans snap, it will happen quickly and without warning. And we are very close to the breaking point.

If the Constitution brings us to the point that foreign adversaries can ship pregnant women into our country by the thousands or millions to have US citizen children, then the whole thing just isn’t fit for purpose anymore.

He has now lived there for 8 months — without paying a single dollar. My losses are over $50,000 and still growing. Police won’t act. DA won’t act. The system tells me: go to housing court and wait. I followed the law. I hired a lawyer. I even gave him extra time to leave. He’s still there. Let me ask a simple question: When someone uses fraud to take your property, why is it treated like a normal tenant dispute? This system doesn’t protect honest people. It punishes them. NYC talks about a “housing crisis.” But who would rent out their property under these conditions? This is not just my story. This is happening to small landlords across New York. And nobody is fixing it.
