A transformative nutrition program is here and at its heart is a food bank system that will save lives.
A bold step toward ending malnutrition in Nigeria.
Grateful to First Lady @SenRemiTinubu for championing this with heart & purpose, and to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State your leadership inspires.
Food banks aren’t just storage. They’re lifelines. Nutritious, age-appropriate food. Fortified grains. Supplements. Therapeutic foods. Delivered consistently to pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children under 6 without corruption or diversion.
Centralized, secure food bank hubs in every local government mean quality control, less waste, and full accountability from screening to follow-up.
We are saving lives.
Thank you to leaders who serve the vulnerable.

Earlier Today, I sat down with our Executive Secretaries of State Primary Health Care Board for our Quarterly Review Meeting and I left feeling deeply proud, profoundly grateful, and more determined than ever.
Over the course of our discussions, we reviewed the status of NPHCDA's core programmes and initiatives, tracking what's working and where we must double down. We received detailed updates from SPHCBs on PHC activities aligned with our national priorities, state by state, story by story. We assessed key PHC performance indicators, not just as numbers, but as lives impacted, communities reached, and systems strengthened. We had honest, unfiltered conversations about challenges because progress is born from courage, not silence.
To every Executive Secretary, thank you for your sacrifices, together, we will not stop until every Nigerian no matter where they live has access to quality, affordable primary health care.
