There is no longer any closure on US Highway 2 between Glasgow and Wolf Point. Blowing dust with severe driving conditions remains.

3:15 PM Update: While severe driving conditions remain elsewhere, this is a clarification that the only official closure on US Highway 2 for blowing dust is between Glasgow and Wolf Point. #mtwx

The road closure for blowing dust on US Highway 2 has been extended west to Dodson, totaling mile markers 457 to 592. A Civil Emergency Message has been put out for Phillips, Valley and Roosevelt counties. #mtwx

Severe blowing dust with wind gusts to 80 mph is reducing visibility to near zero in areas, including the US-2 corridor. A Blowing Dust Advisory goes until 6PM with High Wind Warning continuing until midnight tonight. Use extra caution and avoid travel if possible. #mtwx #haboob

Strong west winds are expected today with gusts to 70 mph. Those looking to recreate on Fort Peck Lake can expect periods of 5 to 7 foot wave heights until midnight Thursday night. Travel difficulties are also expected with the strong cross winds and blowing dust. #mtwx
