Ordinary people living ordinary lives and still their lives were full of meaning. To be descended from those who planted yams, who raised cattle, who wove cloth and sang to the moon, is not shame. It is history. Stop looking to Europe’s idea of royalty to justify your worth. Dignity is not the preserve of royalty. It belongs to humanity.
