9 March 1981 - Rehearsals for CATS began 🐾 Andrew Lloyd Webber and Trevor Nunn shaped the show as it evolved, while choreographer @Gillian_Lynne asked the cast to study how cats move before anything was staged, forming the musical’s distinctive movement language.

ALW on writing ‘Sing’ with Gary Barlow for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. A song that brought voices from across the Commonwealth together.
