For terrorists to be really effective at terrorizing people, they need the support & reportage of the media. Whenever media outlets amplify videos of terrorists organization, the way we do in Nigeria, we are not practicing free speech; we are subjecting the populace to the same fear the terrorists preach. We need legislature that criminalizes the sharing of media content from terrorist organizations.

If TINUBU asked you to step down, step down! Tinubu has stepped down for many people in the past too. As a sitting Governor, he asked himself to step down his senatorial ambition for Ganiyu Solomon and he stepped for Solomon. In 2015, he told himself "Step down for Osinbajo" and he stepped down! So, he's not asking you to do what he cannot do. When he was like you, he was busy stepping down so that the party can step up!!! APC's strength of today is majorly derived from Tinubu’s Stepping down Ability! If TINUBU asked you to step down, step down!

We must never allow banditry to become the order of the day in the South West. Anything that has to be done, must be done. Anybody, should lose their job if that’s the solution, and this includes the President.

He broke hearts, stole millions, fled to South Africa, but we found him in the end. From 2014 to 2018, Samuel Ugberease, also known as "Putsammy," "Putput," and "Sammy," ran a complex romance scam that targeted vulnerable women in the United States. He used fake identities, fake relationships, and made up emergencies, causing real heartbreak. In one case, a single victim lost $1.5 million after trusting the wrong person online. The stolen money was moved through several bank accounts in different countries. Samuel believed that using distance and false names would keep him safe, but he was mistaken. INTERPOL issued a Red Notice for Samuel. When he arrived from South Africa at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos on December 14, 2025, INTERPOL NCB Abuja officers were waiting for him. He was arrested as soon as he landed. Extradition proceedings began at the Federal High Court in Lagos. The court approved the request, and on May 14, 2026, Samuel Ugberease was handed over to United States law enforcement. He will now face charges for online romance scams, wire fraud, and other financial crimes in the Eastern District of North Carolina. To every victim who lost trust and savings, justice crossed continents to reach you.

NIGERIA POLICE EXTRADITES WANTED CYBER FRAUD SUSPECT TO UNITED STATES The Nigeria Police Force, through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, has successfully extradited one Samuel Ugberease, also known as “Putsammy”, “Putput”, and “Sammy”, to the United States of America to face charges bordering on online romance scam, wire fraud, and related financial crimes. The suspect, who was based in South Africa prior to his arrest, was extradited on Wednesday, 14th May 2026, following the conclusion of extradition proceedings and coordinated engagements between Nigerian and United States law enforcement authorities. Investigations revealed that between 2014 and 2018, the suspect and his accomplices operated a criminal syndicate involved in online romance scams targeting female victims in the United States, particularly within the Eastern District of North Carolina. The syndicate reportedly created fake online identities and dating profiles to establish fraudulent emotional relationships with victims before manipulating them into sending large sums of money under false pretences and fabricated emergencies. Further investigations established that proceeds of the fraud were laundered through multiple bank accounts used to receive, process, and conceal illicit funds. In one of the reported cases, the suspect was linked to the defrauding of a victim of over One Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars ($1.5 million USD). The fugitive was initially arrested by operatives of INTERPOL NCB Abuja at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on 14th December 2025 upon his arrival from South Africa, following a INTERPOL Red Notice issued by authorities in the United States. Subsequently, extradition proceedings were instituted at the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division, where the Court granted the application for his extradition in accordance with the provisions of the Extradition Act, CAP E25, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. The Nigeria Police Force reiterates its commitment to leveraging INTERPOL tools, international partnerships, and intelligence-led policing to combat cybercrime, financial fraud, and other transnational organised criminal activities, while assuring both local and international partners of its continued cooperation in advancing global security. It is deeply heart breaking to hear about the kidnapping of teachers and children in Oyo State. At this point, insecurity is no longer something happening near us. It has become something happening to us, right inside our homes and communities across Yorubaland. Families are living in fear and are under constant anxiety. South‑West Governors must strengthen and fully equip Amotekun so they can reclaim our forests, protect our roads, and dismantle the criminal networks hiding in these spaces. No child in Yorubaland should be afraid to go to school. No parent should live with the terror of wondering if their loved ones will return home. We owe ourselves a region where safety is guaranteed, not negotiated. We must dismantle these criminal bastards immediately!

SHAME ON YOU, NGOZI OKAFOR! 😡 How dare you? You publish a book titled “Igbo Cookbook: Authentic Recipes Passed Down Through Generations” and pack it full of Yoruba classics like Ofada rice and Ayamase sauce, Efo Riro, Gbegiri, Akara, Moi Moi, Ewedu, and more, then slap “Igbo” on the cover like you invented them? This isn’t “sharing culture.” This is straight-up theft and cultural erasure! Ofada rice comes from Ofada town in Ogun State, Yoruba land, not some vague “Igbo tradition.” Ayamase? That’s Yoruba pepper sauce, period. Your book is flooding Amazon and Etsy, misleading the world that these are “authentic Igbo recipes.” You’re not preserving anything, you’re stealing other people’s heritage, rebranding it, and selling it for profit. If it was a “Nigerian Cookbook,” fine. But calling it Igbo, that’s fraudulent, deceptive, and disrespectful. We documented our food for centuries. Don’t come now and rewrite history because you want clout or sales. Remove the false labeling, credit the origins properly, or watch this blow up in your face. This is how cultures get erased, one stolen recipe at a time. Tag your friends. Report the book on Amazon. Enough is enough! 🔥 #YorubaFoodIsYoruba #StopCulturalTheft #NgoziOkaforExpose

Some politicians have posted on X more times in the last three days than in their entire political careers combined. No constituency engagement. No town halls. No accountability reports. Nothing - for years. But the moment the primary whistle blows, suddenly they discover the internet. Suddenly, they remember they have constituents. He who neglects his farm in the rainy season will remember it in the season of hunger. Attention borrowed at deadline cannot replace loyalty earned over time.

Once again (but not for the last time), the Personal income tax you’re expected to pay is a state tax, 100% of it goes to your state, so if you have accountability issues regarding that, your problem should be with your governors not Bola Tinubu but you fear them so much

A multi ethnic country like Nigeria should be more open about conversation that may lead to ethnic conflicts. You can't be criticizing ethnicity conversations while your ethnic group have regular meetings to enforce economic & political plans. As long there is openness & facts, it is in everyone's interests that we are clear on where conflicts may show up & we can talk about it.

Sainthood politics ended with baba Buhari who was generally believed to be incorruptible. Under his watch, Godwin Elemiemere and Malami stole the treasury to stupor. We are now in the era of transformative politics. If you don't have anything to offer order than "I wear one wrist watch, then get out.

A drunk policeman shot me at a checkpoint in 2011. The bullet tore through my car, through my right hand. I lost my career as an animator. My marriage cracked. My mind still bleeds. The twist? I sued the Nigeria Police. Won in 2015. Judge said: "Pay his medical bills." 10 years later. Zero naira. I face permanent disability without help. @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @UNDP @NhrcNigeria #NigeriaPoliceNotYourFriend

I am Nigerian, and right now my dream is bigger than me. Only about 4.5% of medical literature globally are represented on Black skin. That means millions of Black patients are learning from systems that barely look like them. Medical students study diseases on skin tones that are not their own. Doctors are trained with visual references that often fail Black bodies. That gap has consequences. So I am deciding to build towards changing it. I’m starting with a book. But the larger vision is far beyond that. I want to help build software and medical visualization tools that make Black medical representation impossible to ignore. This is not just about diversity aesthetics, this is about accuracy, education, visibility and better healthcare outcomes. One day, I want a Black child studying medicine anywhere on earth to see themselves fully represented in what they learn. And I believe we can build that future.

If there is one arm of govt that has been so abused by Nigerians...it is the Legislative branch of government... In the early 2000 I felt it was because of so many years of military rule.... But after 27 years of democracy it's safe to say it's collective willful ignorance... They assess Legislators like governors or local government chairmen. A legislators goes to his constituency counting the primary schools he renovated...A local govt duty... The Keke and sewing machine he distributed..... These are not legislative duties A legislator’s core job is lawmaking, representation, and oversight, not directly building roads or sharing empowerment items. and this is how I rank legislative duties 👇 35% — Legislative impact 30% — Oversight effectiveness 20% — Representation/advocacy 10% — Infrastructure facilitation 5% — Empowerment programs if a legislator's biggest achievement is infrastructures and empowerments... he is not fit to be a lawmaker....he scored 15/100.... F9... He or she should resign and contest for chairman or gov... A legislator should tell his people the number of times he attended parliamentary sittings to contribute to national debate.... Many of them never attended plenary up to 5% in 4 years.... show up to distribute Hair driers and get another 4 years of Absenteeism... Ali Ndume is going back after 28 years in the national assembly..... he has no impactful bill in those 28 years.... almost every important bill of national importance were opposed by him.... So is Ahmed Lawan.... so is one mutu from Delta Ijaw..... They share Rice...Ram....Goat....and tomatoes.... and you see their people dancing shouting 4 +4... A legislator who passed one bill that help to fix corruption in a sector of the economy....save the country hundreds of billions of Naira.... is more important that a legislator spending N1billion to share okada every year... Lawmakers can quietly reform this country and fix over 70% of the problems we complain about without anyone knowing whether the govs, chairman or president exist.... That is why they are the most important arm of the govt in any democracy... Lawmakers should be telling their people the corruption they exposed via oversight how their oversight led to efficiency via their committees... How many of these lawmakers have constituency offices they visit often to explain govt policies, get complains directly from their people and create bills to fix the complain just see the picture below 👇 A senator with massive load of cash to distribute to his people in Borno.... They will keep him in the Senate for this gesture for the next 50 years even if he goes there to sleep.. Natasha showcase the primary schools he built than the impactful laws he sponsors..... Unfortunately the same people who celebrate these unscrupulous lawmakers who abdicated from their primary duties... are the ones wailing uncontrollably online that they are suffering....

When people say a legislator didn't perform, what exactly do they mean? Beyond lawmaking and the impact of those laws on the polity, what other KPIs should legislators be judged by? The constituents became entitled the moment legislators started sharing pepper grinding machines.
