Really went for it and am very happy to have held on for the win at #MtCharlestonMarathon but did slow a lot. Splits of 1:08:22/1:15:58 for a 2:24:20. Was on pace for 2:18 til 20 miles but had a painful last 10k. Marathons are not easy! Time to eat a LOT of food! 🍔🍕🥓🥓🥓

I feel like someone beat me with an iron bar. Even my upper body! Downhill marathoning seems to cause about as much damage as 100 miling. But it was stupidly fun (for around 18 miles) and should pay off for a little jaunt through the High Sierra. #seeyouinsquaw
