Below The Pyramid🎙️ We’re delighted to announce that we will be starting a biweekly show at Subtle Sport called ‘below the pyramid’! This show will focus on the Southern Central Premier and the Isthmian League (Step 3 of the English Football pyramid). On the show expect in depth round ups of recent matches, team news and speculation around players and it wouldn’t be a Subtle Sport show without delving into Kettering and St Albans along the way! We will also be having guest fans on from fellow Non League clubs at the levels to get their takes and hot takes! The show will debut this week on Wednesday 20th August at Midday. We truly hope you enjoy what we’re planning for this project👏🏻 (As always thank you to our graphic designer Tyler for creating the cover)

Do I need to bang the drum again?

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

Was it ever in doubt? Spalding put up a great fight for some time but the defensive record matched with the attack was too good for anyone this season. As for the play offs, still a lot up for grabs but momentum is key and how will Spalding bounce back? Dare I say it I’m looking at RB and Kettering as the favourites….
