Nick also said that Leon and Ada's relationship was very different in RE4R and that Leon ended the relationship with her. If you accept what Nick said as canon, why don't you accept this? The canon value of the voice actors' thoughts is the same as the canon value of any fan's thoughts. Those people are not the development team. Only what the development team says in guiding the voice actors has canon value. People who play the games, read the files, and look at the official materials know that there is no post-RC romance.

Leon’s voice actors keep saying that Ada is a very important person in Leon’s life and that he loves her, yet some idiot still says nonsense. It’s honestly hilarious.
