Azam’s service as National Director has made a deep contribution to our democracy for nearly a decade, and his dedication was essential in our party’s work to earn a clear mandate from Canadians to build Canada Strong. Thank you Azam, and best wishes on your next endeavours.

Clips are the thing, btw. It’s not that you need your candidate doing influencer interviews (though you should) or YouTube videos (though you should). All of those things are clips. It’s that you need to constantly be generating content of the candidate from the stuff they are doing all day. Interviews, interactions with people, events. “Oh but the boss doesn’t want to wear a mic” ok! Your loss. “We want those interactions to be private!” Ok! No one will see them. “Need a memo before we can do that” ok! It won’t happen.

Clips are no longer the byproduct of the main product — they’re the main product. No matter the size of the show, they drive the ultimate reach 👇

The night is still young, but CPC vote change so far: University Rosedale: -11% Scarborough SW: -13% Terrebonne: -15% The CPC at 3% in Terrebonne is less than half their worst riding result anywhere in QC in '25, and could be one of their worst QC riding results ever.

A year ago today, Mark Carney and our new Liberal team kicked off the 2025 election campaign with a plan to build Canada Strong. Since then, we’ve worked to deliver for Canadians — bringing down costs, diversifying our trade, and empowering Canadians with more opportunities.

Liberal Party of Canada media release: #electionwatch: Liberals Record Best Fundraising Year in Party History Ottawa, ON — The Liberal Party of Canada announced today that 2025 marked its best-ever fundraising year, with Canadians chipping in over $29M to support Mark Carney and the Liberal Party — over 60 per cent more than the previous campaign year and nearly double that of 2024. “This was a historic year, and it continues to be a historic moment for the Liberal Party,” said Azam Ishmael, National Director of the Liberal Party of Canada. “Canadians are stepping forward in record-breaking numbers to support our party because they believe in Mark Carney, our team, and our plan to build a stronger Canada. That momentum is helping grow our party, and ensuring we’re ready to win, whenever the next election arrives.” This fundraising success builds on record engagement through 2025, with more than 300,000 new Registered Liberals joining the party, a secure and robust Leadership race, millions of door knocks and calls made to connect with Canadians, and the most votes ever earned by a Canadian political party on Election Day. While Pierre Poilievre continues to double down on the same divisive politics Canadians rejected last spring, Mark Carney and our new Liberal government are delivering the serious leadership needed to build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future. Building on this momentum, Liberals are already looking ahead. This weekend, volunteers will join the first virtual Campaign College of 2026, as the party prepares to welcome thousands of supporters from across the country for its 2026 National Convention in Montréal from April 9-11. – 30 –

Liberal Party media release: Today, the Liberal Party issued the following statement from Chris d’Entremont, Member of Parliament for Acadie-Annapolis: “Earlier this afternoon, upon the presentation of the 2025 Budget, I informed the Leader of the Opposition, the Opposition House Leader, and the Speaker of the House of Commons that I had resigned from the Conservative caucus. "After serious consideration and thoughtful conversations with constituents and my family, I came to a clear conclusion: there is a better path forward for our country — and a better path forward for Acadie-Annapolis. "Prime Minister Mark Carney is offering that path with a new Budget that hits the priorities I have heard most in my riding, to build strong community infrastructure and grow a stronger economy.  "That is why I am joining the Government caucus. "After five years of serving in opposition, the people of Acadie-Annapolis and all Canadians know that the moment we face today needs all of us to lead — not with complaint, but with confidence in a strong future.  "This is an important moment for the country to come together, and I am looking forward to working with the Prime Minister to build the strong economic future that all our communities deserve."
