@PartyonMachine1 @largiantribune Promo is hard. Particularly because there’s tens of thousands of songs out daily. Needle in a haystack type stuff

I always go into submitting to blogs on Submithub feeling very good about my songs and the vibe I achieved… but getting knitpicky feedback and being declined over and over again really makes you question everything. Not sure if it’s good long term for my mental health. Thoughts?

@westernjaguar @largiantribune I'm in the same boat. I'm terrible at promotion, and what has worked for me in the past (a little - youtube channels, for example) isn't at the moment. I'm suspicious of anything *intended* for promotion, though!

@largiantribune Yea I’m just kinda feeling stuck on both ends. Organic is kinda gone cold and this route isn’t working. Not really sure what the new approach needs to be!

@Kiffie8 I tend to hate my stuff, and then not release it, because it feels impolite to waste people's time listening to it. So I should probably follow your advice :D

@Esslemontsounds It is intended for a single listening session, which might be why I am seeing people skip past all the tracks with long sound effect only intros..

Anything decent/new worth checking out on Bandcamp this Friday? Jazz, electronic, ambient, experimental, noise. Just something new would be pleasant
