Saddened to hear the news of Lindsey Graham’s passing.   Despite our many differences of opinion, Senator Graham and I worked together often, negotiating countless funding bills and finding common ground where we could.   My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

Trump wants to turn the federal budget into one big slush fund to reward his allies and punish everyone else.   A cancer research grant in a state where someone personally offended Trump? Terminated.    This would be devastating for communities & is downright unacceptable.
