La setmana passada vam celebrar la 4a Taula de Governança en el marc del projecte #ProjecteFociBiodiversitat 🌿 A la sessió es van abordar els permisos de cremes prescrites i la importància d’una bona comunicació per garantir que la informació arribi a tothom. També es va compartir la proposta de fer xerrades als municipis afectats i veïns, amb #Forest4 i @bomberscat explicant les cremes i la gestió de l’emergència, com també @Agents_Rurals i #SSTTBoscos. El #ProjecteFociBiodiversitat a l'#AltaGarrotxa està finançat amb els #AjutsMAP de @transicioeco

Final stage of our field visits for the #WildfireRecoveryProject in Northern Ireland🔥 👉Visit to the South Antrim Hills, specifically to a CAFRE farm, where rotational burning and sheep grazing are implemented to create a suitable habitat for the red grouse. Special thanks to @marksmyth777 for his support throughout our entire visit.😉

#WildfireRecoveryProject in Northern Ireland. We’re continuing our field visits. 😊 👉Yesterday, we visited the Carn–Glenshane Pass. An insightful field trip exploring a peatland ecosystem managed through sheep grazing and strategic flailing. The area also experienced a fire in April 2025.

📢 We’re now in Northern Ireland! The PCF is leading an international consortium of wildfire experts to deliver a dedicated Wildfire Recovery Project as part of the Northern Ireland Wildfire Action Plan, launched by @daera_ni. 👉 We were on a field visit to the Eastern Mournes SAC alongside #NIEA, @NIFRSOFFICIAL, #NationalTrust and @Mournelive 👉 We also held a productive meeting with @UFUHQ More about this project 🔗paucostafoundation.org/en/the-pcf-is-… We are proud and happy to carry out this highly rewarding project.🙌

🔥Last week, we delivered another “Training in Technical Fire Management” in 📍Portugal, alongside #GreenFlame and #FábioSilva 😊 👉 This training equips participants with the essential skills to safely use fire in both prevention and suppression activities. Thanks, everyone, for such a rewarding training! 🙌

🔥Last day of the #BRICOM training in 📍Guayana. We have wrapped up on a high note with a prescribed burn. ☺️ 👉 This training is a collaboration with the Guayana Forestry Commission and the Ministry of Natural Resources, with the support of @AicsBogota #Amazonia+ programme. 👉 It has been a very enriching experience. We have created a unique space for knowledge exchange. Thank you very much for the opportunity. 😌

🔥We continue in 📍Guayana with the training for the #BRICOM. We have carried out theoretical sessions, field practices, and a wildfire simulation exercise using straw. Next up: a prescribed burn. 👉Thanks @AicsBogota #Amazonia+ for your trust 😉 and the Guayana Forestry Commission and the Ministry of Natural Resources for their collaboration.

📢We are in 📍Guyana, working together with the Guyana Forestry Service (GFS), from the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), to prepare the #BRICOM, which will take place on April 14 and 16 in 📍Linden, in collaboration with @aics_it in the framework of the #Amazonia+ program. 👉 We are expanding the exchange of knowledge on Integrated Fire Management (#IFM) to new countries.🙌
