I express deep sympathy to, and strong support for, our Jewish community after this sickening terrorist attack. When I was an MP, Jewish constituents told me they feared for their safety. To every Australian Jew I say: this is your country, you have a right to feel and be safe.

Ed Husic being punted from Industry & Science is bizarre. Obviously I don’t agree with all his policies (eg PsiQuantum) but he has high energy levels & a strong commitment to the power of science & technology to make the world a better place.
