Community PSA 📢 Following the open letter from Matthew Goldby of @BeTheHoss, we are proposing we establish a 7-member Governance Board to lead key decisions around the project's future and treasury. Board structure: 3 seats from the current mod team 3 seats from the community (this is where you come in) 1 seat held by @bethehoss This board strengthens our community's voice and brings discipline and transparency to how decisions are made and how the treasury is managed. If this is something you'd be interested in, think about: Who you are in this community. how long you've been here, and how you've contributed. Why you want a seat. What drives you and why governance matters to you. What you bring. Skills, experience, perspective, or strengths that benefit the board. Your commitment. This is real responsibility, not a role for clout. Requirements: You must be an active, established member of the Barking Puppy community. You must be willing to internally dox your wallet and legal identity to the board. This stays private but accountability among board members is non-negotiable. You must be prepared to participate in regular governance discussions and votes How voting works: Once the Discord is released later today, we have created a dedicated Governance voting channel. All applicants will contribute their claim. The 3 community candidates and 3 mod team candidates with the most reactions will be selected. One member, one react per candidate. This is your voice. Use it. The pack built this from nothing. Now we give it the governance it deserves.
