He’s in the Freedom Caucus, serves on Judiciary and Oversight, and pushes hard on border security, cutting government waste, and protecting life. Danielle went on Fox & Friends and basically said he’s the ultimate family guy, super involved dad, always making time for their kids despite the crazy schedule. She talked about how they go back and forth between Texas and DC, and he still shows up for all the little moments. They’ve been married since 2017, so about nine years now. They have two kids, a daughter named Marigold and a son named Winston, who was born last May. They met at Dartmouth College when they were both 18. They got married at 22 in 2017, so it was a pretty quick college sweetheart story. They keep the exact how-we-met details pretty private. He got elected in November 2024 and was sworn in this past January. He’s in his first term now.
