i've been seeing lots of offramping apps targeting Nigeria users lately not surprised tho we process serious volume in stables here Nigeria is already one of the heaviest stablecoin markets in Africa, with billions moving through USDT and the rest but i still don't know if this sudden wave is real usage or just the bounties talking every project is hosting one on CT, and more keep joining because it seems to work short-term, cause tbf it won't last these bounties are hosted on CT, marketed by CT, to onboard the same CT crowd it's the same bubble fighting over the same traders and degens, every new app is just slicing a smaller piece of the same pie when there's a huge market sitting right outside look at baysemarkets, they pulled prediction markets out of the crypto Twitter echo chamber and took it to actual people who need it that's the move these offramp apps need to copy take your neobank or stablecoin app straight to the streets plenty of people out there want to spend their stables directly in clubs, malls, restaurants, markets, everywhere these neobanks are already operating with proper licenses (many of them upgraded to national status by CBN), so the rails exist already Nigeria is well versed with crypto, stablecoins are already moving in daily life for freelancers, traders, and even some merchants it will actually be way easier to push adoption in the places that matter all you have to do is go aggressive on partnerships: get clubs, malls, restaurants, and big merchants to accept stables directly make it seamless for them to receive in USDT/USDC and offramp to naira when they need to solve their real pains, fast settlement, lower FX headaches, reliable international inflows etc that kind of real-world spendability beats any bounty campaign it creates genuine volume, sticky users, and a much stronger marketing flywheel because people see stables working in everyday spots, not just in CT screenshots bounties can bootstrap, but long-term winners will be the ones who broke out of the same bubble and start building where the actual economy is happening
