What's the official statement on using distance fields in shaders? Afaik, they've been somewhat broken since 5.0. Workaround is to use a CVar to only use one low resolution cascade, I think, but it's far from ideal. Am I wrong? Any clues? Ty

@SamNChiet Hey! Yes, I’m bulging up the UVs when sampling the render texture so that the black motion lines gets some offset in the center of the screen. Of course! There are certainly other ways to achieve a similar effect, what has been your approach?

@peteborks I'm so curious how you're using the motion vectors to achieve the distortion on that smear effect (are you doing fisheye stuff?) - been working on similar NPR stuff with a different angle recently. Would you be down to quickly chat about this?

Changing job been far from ideal to keep side project ongoing. Managed to find some time this week to redo texture with a more brush hand painted feel aswell as normal adjustments. Will travel now good time for iPad smaller project before finishing this early next year

@peteborks hey, would you mind elaborating a little on how you "fed the vertex normals into a voronoi node"? the effect is gorgeous and i'd like to try experimenting with but I'm not exactly sure how to use normals as an input for voronoi (i also work in Unity so maybe i just can't ldkjgh)
