@SimonLester2468 What a well thought out decision, obviously with no bias, just on the merits that he was good at assisting, what more could you ask for, I am sure that future generations will look back and remember those assists.

Just cast my postal vote for the Makerfield bye election, was a tough choice but I went for Bruno Fernandes in the end.

@SimonLester2468 Great post, even though I now live in Thailand, this season has been getting up in the middle of the night, drained emotionally and physically the next day, listening to the nay sayers, but never not believeing in Arteta and the players. COYG

I’ve been lucky enough to see a few of these Championship winning teams, you never forget those memories, they stick with you forever. For some reason this one and all of the experiences that have gone with the last 37 games just seems the best of the lot. Thousands of miles to travel, joy, heartbreak, looking like it was done to worrying about the next game. Supporting a football team takes you through the full spectrum of emotions. To everyone that I’ve met along the way this season and especially to my close friends and family who I’ve shared this experience with, tonight makes it all worthwhile. Our team are Premier League Champions. 🔴⚪️

Today of all days is one to shut out all of the external noise. This is a day about Arsenal and what needs to be done. 🔴⚪️

That putt from Rai on 17 was so reminiscent of JJ Spaun at the US Open last year. Just slammed the door shut on the rest of the field in sensational fashion. Just a superb final round. What a win - and what a way to win it 👏👏

@PaulPonting I live in Thailand, we are 6 hours in front of you, so game did not finish until nearly 00:20, so wound up took me ages to get to sleep, up at 05:00 because I am playing golf, so going to be a long tiring day, but a happy one. COYG.

Very good start by Arsenal, White injury a blow, Saka not getting into the game, and Eze very quite. Need to be on the front foot right from the start of the 2nd half. COYG.

Here’s my take on the current state of the league. Will the winners be decided on goal difference…🤷. Unlikely, but it could happen. Both teams now have five games remaining, three at home and two away. Is there a bias as to easier or harder fixtures..not for me, it’s very similar imo. Not having to leave London will help us in respect of preparing for games as travelling won’t be an issue. The next game is always the most important one, we now play twice before City compete again. We’ve currently scored 63 goals in 33 games, that comes in at just under two goals a game. I think that margin has to increase, not primarily to increase the goal difference but purely to put teams away earlier and more convincingly than we have been all season. I think we have to play both Eze & Odegaard in midfield and sacrifice (probably) Zubimendi, Rice can easily play as a 6 in the remaining games. We need to be more direct and we certainly need to be creating more chances, this imo is the easiest way. Saka and Merino, even if they are back won’t fully be up to match fitness before the end of the season so I think we have what we have now to an extent. We have enough fit, attacking players to cope, even if we ‘flog’ a player for 60 minutes we can make changes with fresh legs coming on. Time to release that handbrake and play some care free attacking football, if we have any more performances like we saw against Bournemouth then it’s curtains, be under no doubt. Still very much up for grabs but there is absolutely no scope for error now, has to be five wins and five convincing wins for me! COYG 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️

@GoonerGirl1969 Absolutely, Eze was inches from a great goal, Haaland got a lucky deflection of Hincapie, another effort we hit the post, then Kai had the chance at the end to get us a point. The team played well and did not deserve the loss.

@TomCantonMedia Totally agree, we was unlucky in hitting the post twice, Haaland got a lucky deflection of Hincape for his goal, and you could see Pep was worried we were going to equalise, bringing on more defenders. How many saves did Raya make.

I know there's going to be a lot of emotion out there, understandably so, but that game could have gone either way for me. Sets up quite the last five games.
