As a pharmacist, I’ve spent years fighting to lower prescription drug costs. In January, @POTUS signed my PBM legislation, helping rein in the middlemen, or PBMs, who put profit over patients. Now, one of America’s largest pharmacy benefit managers announced it will stop tying its profits to higher drug prices and prescription volume.
