He topped out at 89 mph across the diamond with present lateral range and reliable glove work displayed. 2029 Grad Showcase Spotlight: 🧢Von Nielsen, RHP 📍Bradenton, FL 🔎PG Grade 9 📒7.08 60 time, 91 exit velo, 87 FB velo. Controlled delivery with good lower half engagement and explosive movements down the slope. Lightning quick arm, fastball worked steadily in the mid-80s and topped out at 87 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Lennex Minor 2028-SS / Compton, CA🔥 Posted a 60 YD- 6.72 sec, 88 Infield velocity, 87 fastball velocity, 77 slider velocity 2385 spin rate, 93 exit velocity. Shows great speed with arm talent in the infield and the mound. Can spin the breaking ball with the slider reaching 2385 spin rate with good depth and sharp break. Minor also has projectable power in the box, posting a 93 exit velocity off the tee. A talented player that will have the ability to impact the game in multiple areas at the next level.
