We lost a resident to suicide at my hospital, and it’s making rounds on social media. My heart broke 💔when our residents shared they’re dealing with not only the loss of a friend—but having to defend their program against people cavalierly linking the tragedy to their own agenda

Had a mother tell me that I’m “not a REAL doctor” because I’m a resident. It’s actually very defeating after multiple 28hr shifts & already struggling with imposter syndrome. Reasons #74838463849 that I’m burned out.
