The share of Russians who identify as Orthodox Christians fell 13% over 15 years, from 78% in 2011 to 65% now, according to a survey by the loyalist Saint Tikhon Orthodox University. Only 33% of Orthodox believers attend Russian Orthodox Church services several times a year or more, while nearly one third never go. Sixteen percent of respondents said they belong to no religion, six percent called themselves atheists and nine percent Muslims.

En 2023, le journaliste israélien @Yossi_eli s'était déguisé en moine franciscain (avec l'autorisation du Custode) pour expérimenter les crachats et les injures qui visent les religieux chrétiens à Jérusalem. Depuis, il continue de documenter ce climat de violences. Toda raba!

אחת מעבודות העיתונות שאני הכי גאה בהן היא עבודת ״כומר ליום אחד״, התחפשתי לכומר פרנציסקני ליום אחד כשהמשטרה לא עשתה כלום עם נצרופוביה. לצערי, קיבלתי יריקות מילדים, עוברי אורח ואפילו חיילים ! במהלך תרבות יום א׳. מאז המשטרה החלה לעצור את היורקים ואת הנצרופובים. אבל זה לא מספיק! זה חייב לבןא עם חינוך

נצרופוביה מגעילה! מרצה בבית הספר למקרא וארכיאולוגיה הצרפתי, שהיא גם עמיתה באוניברסיטה העברית הותקפה בידי יהודי קיצוני בן 36! שהכה אותה בפניה, דחף אותה ונמלט. לשמחתי, המשטרה התעוררה אחרי שהצבנו מראה ופעם אחר פעם הראנו את החומרה בתופעת הנצרופוביה ועצרו את החשוד. מדובר ביוזמה שאותה לקח קרוב לליבו דביר תמים, מפקד מרחב קדם.
