@Pragmatism14 I agree. They can definitely step it up in those regards. I do like the indication that the genre (specifically men's hip-hop) is heading in the right direction in terms of valuing the best vs. crowning "next up" because of age. It sustains hip-hop in comparison to other genres.

Hip-hop as an industry is still growing & bringing in new demographics but the music itself is stagnant (men & women), talking about the same things. Also, for it to be maturing, there has to be reflection and accountability within the genre. Same beefs, stereotypes, & narratives

@atlhawkstime11 I knew we needed a point guard so I was pleased we filled the need. I didn't know a lot about Trae, however I don't watch much college basketball except for March madness. What I did know is Trae had the ability to create his own shot & clutch gene so I was excited.

It’s sad that Im one of the VERY few Hawks fans who were happy about us trading for Trae Young. He’s exactly who I wanted. 97% of Hawks fans hated it and now they’ll act like they never did because he proved them wrong but if you hated the pick and admit it then I respect that.
