#safegessner For reconstructed Gessner from Westheimer to Richmond, COH plans to convert from 4 to 6 lanes even though traffic is declining. This will cost more $ to make it more dangerous in the face of stagnant traffic volumes.

On this 2024 World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, a quick check of Houston’s 2024 road fatality status. 276 in TxDOT data, which lags about a month. We’re looking at 10-20% increase over 23. CODB unless it’s your loved one.

If such exists, because you know how often there is only one or two studies that get parroted into 20, plagiarized into your "science"

@steeple_b @gia_francxsca @Glenntu2 I’ve got more studies from different sources around the world showing narrower lanes are safer, but none of them will matter to you. Again, people die with your design and you can’t tell us why you want it. People live with mine. That’s common sense.
