It was an honor to be part of this collaboration, thanks and kudos to everyone involved. Some of these findings are important correctives to assumptions about race and culture in classical music. I hope it makes a valuable contribution to #equity in the #arts & #publicmedia.

Can we stop calling our largest #museums & #arts institutions "flagship" and smaller-budget, community-based organizations "scrappy"? Given inequities in #philanthropy and the power of language to shape policy, those terms perpetuate the status quo and keep small orgs small. 1/2
