When I assumed office, I made a commitment to pursue development with purpose and deliver results that positively impact our people. For over two decades, the International Conference Centre project initiated in 2003 remained an unfinished dream. Seeing it completed in less than a year is both emotional and deeply fulfilling. Here in Enugu, we have made a clear decision: we will not be spectators in this revolution. We will be participants and producers of the progress we want to see. This is what intentional leadership looks like in action, and it reflects our commitment to turning long held aspirations into reality and building a future Ndi Enugu can be proud of. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲

There is something profoundly moving about the love and trust of one’s people. Not because it is given, but because it is earned through shared journeys, shared hopes and a collective belief in a better tomorrow. Today, I was deeply touched by the warm visit of the leaders and people of Ozalla. Their prayers, words of encouragement and unwavering support serve as a powerful reminder that the true strength of leadership lies in the bond between government and the people it serves. What made this moment especially meaningful was the presence and endorsement of my people from the Idodo Zone of Amakanu. There is no greater affirmation than the confidence of those who have known your journey, shared your roots and witnessed your growth. Their support is both humbling and inspiring, and I receive it with gratitude and a renewed commitment to continue serving Ndi Enugu with dedication, integrity and results. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲.

Democracy is sustained not only by institutions, but by the people whose courage, participation, and belief in a better future keep its ideals alive. As we celebrate Democracy Day, I join Nigerians across the country in reflecting on our shared journey and recommitting ourselves to the values of unity, justice, and good governance. I also salute the resilience, enterprise, and unwavering spirit of Ndi Enugu, whose contributions continue to drive progress within our state and across the nation. Together, let us continue building a stronger Nigeria and a more prosperous Enugu for generations to come. Happy Democracy Day.

From the first day I assumed office, my primary goal has been for everyone to come in unity as we build the Enugu Of Our Dream, The Enugu our children will have the best quality of Enugu and livelihood, a place you will be proud to call home, and a preferred destination for business and tourism from people across the world. In the vibrant colours of our traditional attire, the joyful faces of our people, and the support and wisdom of our traditional leaders all came together to remind me of the uniqueness of our people and the trust they have placed in me. More than politics, this celebration of our culture and shared aspirations is a constant reminder of why Enugu remains the beacon of the East. I am deeply grateful for this show of confidence, and it strengthens my resolve to continue serving our proud people and our state. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲

No family should have to travel miles in search of basic healthcare. No mother should be left without care, and no child should be denied the opportunity to live a healthy life because of where they were born. This is why we are building and equipping 260 modern Primary Healthcare Centres across the 260 wards of Enugu State, bringing quality healthcare closer to the people. Beyond the buildings, this is about restoring hope, protecting lives, and ensuring that every resident, especially those in our rural communities, can access the care they deserve with dignity. We remain committed to building a healthier Enugu where no one is left behind and every life truly matters. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲

When the people speak with one voice, the future becomes impossible to ignore. The Ofu Obi Grand Rally was a celebration of unity, shared purpose, and the collective determination to build a stronger and more prosperous Enugu. To every citizen who came out in solidarity and hope, thank you. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲

Progress is most meaningful when it is driven by the people. Today, I joined the good people of Enugu East Senatorial District at the Ofu Obi Mega Rally, a gathering that reflects our shared commitment to unity, development, and the continued advancement of our state. The trust and support of our people remain the foundation of every milestone we achieve. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more prosperous Enugu where opportunities abound and no community is left behind. Our journey forward is one of collective purpose, and with the people at the heart of governance, the future remains bright. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲

I was pleased to receive the team from the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), who are in Enugu as part of the 2026 Nationwide Data Verification Exercise. We had a useful conversation about their ongoing review of how FAAC revenue is shared among states and local governments. This work is important in ensuring fairness and that Enugu State is properly reflected in national planning and resource allocation. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲

What a season. What a team. They brought the trophy home again in style. As a token of that appreciation, I announced a plot of land in Enugu for each player, a cash reward of ₦100 million for the team, ₦50 million for the management, and additional plots of land for the General Manager, secretary, coach, and assistant coach. They have earned it, every bit of it. This is what pride in Enugu looks like. This is what belief in our own looks like. And today, I am truly happy.

A season of hard work, sacrifice, and belief has earned Rangers International FC this moment. Champions once again, and deservedly so. Congratulations to the Flying Antelopes. Enugu is proud.

Three years ago, I signed a Citizens’ Charter built on a simple promise: that government would work for the people. Today, I am grateful for how far we have come. Beyond the roads, schools, hospitals, and opportunities, our greatest achievement is restoring belief that progress is possible and that tomorrow can be better than today. This milestone belongs to every Ndi Enugu who has believed, supported, and contributed to our shared vision. The journey continues, and together, we are building the Enugu we imagined. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

Three years ago today, I made a promise to the people of Enugu State, and every single day since, that promise has driven every decision, every project, and every step forward. Three years in, my commitment to you remains unchanged. This is not just governance. It is a responsibility I carry with pride and with purpose for the future we are building together. Today, I stood in gratitude as we marked a deeply significant milestone in our journey as a people. At the Thanksgiving Mass to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of my administration as Executive Governor of Enugu State, I returned thanks to God for His guidance, mercy, and grace upon our state and our shared progress. Three years on, we have remained committed to building a safer, more prosperous, and more innovative Enugu where every citizen can thrive. This moment is not just a reflection of how far we have come, but a renewed pledge to keep pushing forward, together. To Ndi Enugu, I remain deeply grateful for your trust and partnership.
