The 24 fellows of the sixth edition of the European Talent Academy (ETA) met at Imperial College London; ETA is a joint training and networking programme for young researchers, now in its sixth year, organised by @TU_Muenchen, @imperialcollege, and @polimi.

In 1934, a group of students founded the Gliding Center at @polimi. Within a few years, they designed eight gliders, built the university’s first wind tunnel, and took part in international competitions. The Politecnico di Milano has once again been recognised among the world's leading universities in the 2026 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, ranking 6th globally in Architecture and Built Environment, 7th in Design and 20th in Engineering and Technology.
