@ColleenMakhub Regarding whether the ATM and MKP will both be on the ballot papers, Sibonelo could not confirm but mentioned that the two parties have been working well together. He mentioned that there will, however, be talks between the two parties.

Talking about whether President Cyril Ramaphosa is a hindrance in the MKP working with the ANC, Sibonelo had this to say. "Cyril is not the only hindrance. In KZN, the IFP are funded by the Oppenheimers. The ANC is an ice boy of the Oppenheimers and Ruperts. These parties' terms are determined by their funders.

Responding to what the MK Party's stance is on foreign nationals, Sibonelo said, "When you say undocumented foreigners, those people broke the law, so how do you protect such people? Even our people who were in exile, the government knew about them. "With regards to job opportunities, preference must be given to South Africans." He said even if the foreign national is documented, they can't be prioritised over a South African.

@ColleenMakhub Speaking on the future of the MK Party, Sibonelo said they have structures in place and are building proper systems so that the organisation can operate beyond the president.

@ColleenMakhub Sibonelo confirmed that there are engagements taking place between the ANC and MK Party in Gauteng. He said they could not finalise their discussions with the ANC, which is why the Premier said the discussions are ongoing.

"Our operations will not be dictated by what other parties are doing." Sibonelo said they are still on the right track with their preparations for the Local Government Elections and will do things at their own pace. He said the MK Party will be participating in all provinces. "The aim is to win all municipalities in South Africa so we can liberate the people of South Africa." #POWERPerspective

@ColleenMakhub When asked if the MK Party will do well in the upcoming Local Government Elections, Sibonelo said, "Absolutely, we are going to take Joburg, Ekurhuleni and Tshwane." #POWERPerspective

Speaking about the MK Party's representation in other provinces, Sibonelo said the Eastern Cape is a stronghold of the ANC. He said Limpopo as well. He said the Western Cape is a stronghold of the DA. "The party is everywhere. We are in Mpumalanga, and I attended a sitting in Joburg, and the hall was full. The hall was packed with members of the MK Party here in Gauteng. This is just a narrative being spread by haters about the MK Party. We are everywhere; it is the masses which will speak during the local elections."

"We want to build a strong organisation. We are not going to operate an organisation from the boot of your car, where you fill in forms and think you have memberships. We need to build strong branches. When people complain about water, it must be the MK Party branches marching..." #POWERPerspective

@ColleenMakhub Sibonele says the notion that the MK Party does not have policies is not true; the organisation does have policies. Although policies change from time to time.

@ColleenMakhub "You save the party in many ways, but you don't necessarily save the party because it is under threat. For us to circumvent those threats at the party, we need to be a step ahead. There were no threats prevalent at the time."

Sibonelo says the efforts of those who tried to discredit the MK Party were in vain. "Their efforts were defeated. The people who were championing for that realised they wasted time. They are defeated now, and I think they are still trying to find a way to discredit the MK Party."

Speaking about how the committee heard allegations but could not investigate further, Sibonelo said, for example, with the allegation by Vusi Cat Matlala about giving Bheki Cele R500 000, they could not investigate the matter further. "Because we had limited resources, we could not take our investigations further." #POWERPerspective
