🏀 Halftime update! PHS' Varsity Girls Basketball Team is leading Dinwiddie 36-20 at the half! 🔥 Earlier this evening, our JV Girls claimed the win! 💪 Way to go, Lady Indians! Keep the Spear-It alive! 🟧⬛️

PHS is so proud of our female wrestlers, Lily Faris & Emily Bruce, for advancing to the state qualifiers! 💪✨ Lily won 4 out of 5 matches and will compete in the state championship! 🎉 Congrats to both of these amazing student-athletes!🟧⬛️

It’s National School Counselors Week (Feb 3-7)! 🎉 Shoutout to our amazing PHS counselors—Ms. Holley, Ms. Baltimore, Ms. Captain, Ms. Rehme, & Mr. Reimondo—for all they do to support and guide our students! 🟧⬛️

🎶 PHS hosted the Atlantic Indoor Association Band competition on Jan 18th! Both Varsity & JV earned 2nd place! 🏆 Congrats to our amazing performers! 🟧⬛️

🏀 Huge shoutout to Matt Henderson for being honored as the PHS All-Time Scoring Leader at Friday’s Basketball Game! A dual-sport athlete, Matt recently signed with Penn State to continue his football career and has an impressive 4.48 GPA! 👏 Congrats on all your success, Matt!

🎉 PHS Robotics went undefeated at the Harrisonburg Robotics Qualifier on Jan 18th! 🚀 They’re heading to regionals in Maryland on Feb 8th! 🏆 ⬛️🟧

Today, future 9th graders toured PHS, exploring our Career & Workforce Development and Elective programs. Led by student leaders and 8th grade teachers, this visit kicks off course selection for next year. We can’t wait to welcome them to PHS!

PHS Admins met with students today to celebrate first semester successes, reset goals for the second semester, and encourage involvement, hard work, and respect. The students were AMAZING! Here’s to a fantastic second semester! ⬛️🟧

We were excited to support our custodial & food service staff through the "Treat Those Who Treat Us" initiative, raising $1,500 for gift cards! 🎁 Big thanks to Brittany Webb & her classmates for leading the effort, and congrats to Ms. Tolley’s 3rd Block for raising the most! 🙌
