It contrasts with the confidence India projected during the 2008 crisis under Manmohan Singh, when India appeared more economically resilient despite a global meltdown. Manmohan Singh handled the economy with maturity and confidence. In 1967, when Indira Gandhi asked people not to buy gold, India was barely 20 years after independence- still a poor developing country dealing with shortages and economic constraints. That made sense in that historical context. But a major economy in 2026 making similar appeals suggests economic stress - failure of the Modi Govt

The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!
