Say it quietly, but there is now a noticeable difference in: 1) How often the press want to talk to us at @UGLE_GrandLodge… 2) How the reporting is moving away from focusing on myths and more focused on looking at facts… This is progress - but we still have work to do! #Freemasons

@Berks_Mason Our costs are a lower proportion of income than when we were at our peak. Lodges should concentrate on providing value for money.

Is Freemasonry too expensive? Two of my Lodges have found the joining fees have proved to much for potential new candidates. How do other Lodges manage this? Dining fees, drink, raffle at every meeting. Certainly has an impact on visiting. Something we need to think about...

Last night I was at a Mark Mason meeting (most of Hay Chapter were visiting elsewhere). Tonight I'm doing this. I'm really keen to do my bit to help grow our lodge, our chapter & the number of brothers across Herefordshire in particular and Masonry everywhere.
