The ATC has confirmed a 2.6 million deficit as it prepares for a critical meeting with Racing NSW next Thursday over the show cause notice that threatens the club’s independence. Revenue hit a record 373.9 million, but rising costs pushed the ATC into the red for the second straight year. Chair Tim Hale says the club remains asset rich and focused on land opportunities around Rosehill and Canterbury as part of its long term planning. Racing NSW maintains the ATC has enough support under the current funding model, while tensions from the Rosehill saga, board changes and governance disputes continue to loom over the process.
