9-year-old Ravi should only have to think about school and cricket with friends. But after losing his father, his mother struggled to make ends meet, and the risk of him being separated from his family became very real. With the right support, Ravi stayed where he belongs, growing up in the love and security of his own home. But many more children still need support! Your year-end donation can help keep families together and is eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Donate now: bit.ly/SaveTaxSaveACh… #AFamilyForEveryChild

Today, Keerthi (name changed) from Tamil Nadu is in Grade 11, thinking about the future she wants to build. Her journey has been shaped by loss, separation, and rebuilding but also by the power of sustained family support. From institutional care to reintegration, and through grief, Keerthi and her siblings have continued to move forward together with consistent guidance, education, and care. Their path hasn’t been easy, but counselling, livelihood support, and steady family engagement have helped keep them connected to each other and to the possibilities ahead. Such stories remind us why strengthening families matters. 🔗 Read Keerthi’s full journey here: miraclefoundationindia.in/transforming-c… #AFamilyForEveryChild

This #Holi, while we celebrate togetherness, some children risk losing theirs. Poverty nearly separated 14-year-old Niyati from her mother until timely family strengthening support helped her stay safe at home and return to school. Let's choose the colour of family today! 'Where the purpose met people.' "Visiting a new city sounds so exciting with hopes of exploring the food, culture and traditional setup of the place, and when this place is a rural part of the country, it becomes even more interesting, right?" Read this heartfelt blog miraclefoundationindia.in/where-the-purp…, penned by our own Sumeena Sawhney, Manager – Government Partnership & Strategic Alliance, as she takes us through her field visit to rural Maharashtra, meeting children, families, and community leaders, witnessing resilience, warmth, and big dreams, and seeing firsthand how these efforts are shaping a better future for every child. Experiences like this remind us why we stay connected and committed towards #AFamilyForEveryChild.

"Convergence is essential, but we also need to shift our lens. Strengthening community-level systems is critical if we want prevention to work and reintegration to be sustainable. When families are supported early, and vulnerabilities are addressed at the community level, children are far less likely to fall through the cracks or enter institutions.” Speaking on the need for prevention-led approaches and sustainable family reintegration, Kusum Mohapatra shared insights from Miracle Foundation India’s work at the panel 'Strengthening Families through Women’s Empowerment – Practice, Partnership and Shared Responsibility' during the National Symposium on “संवाद से संकल्प तक : For Every Woman and Child,” held on January 12–13, 2025, at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi. Organised by ATSEC India, the symposium was held in collaboration with @bksranchi , Miracle Foundation India, @Asia_Foundation, @GirlsNotBrides and Yuva Manthan. Moderated by Prabhat Kumar, Independent Child Protection Specialist, the panel also featured Bharath Visweswariah, Executive Director (India), @britishasiantst ; Neha Gupta, Independent Consultant and Ex-Associate Director, Transform Rural India; and Aditi Tyagi, Individual Consultant, Governance & Reforms, Niti Aayog, Govt of India and Ex Policy Analyst, Govt. of Uttarakhand. #WomenEmpowerment #FamilyStrengthening #InclusiveGrowth #ViksitBharat2047

Raising a child is not a solitary task but a collective effort. Children need more than parental care; they rely on families, schools, communities, and government systems to thrive. When these systems work together, they create the emotional, social, and economic safety nets every child needs to grow up safe and secure. This spirit of collective responsibility comes alive in this insightful blog 👉 miraclefoundationindia.in/from-policy-to… by Shveta Gupta and Sumeena Sawhney of Miracle Foundation India, which explores how coordinated action under Mission Vatsalya is strengthening families in Amravati and Akola, Maharashtra. In partnership with Vipla Foundation, Miracle Foundation India is turning policy into practice through collaboration across ministries, communities, and civil society, helping prevent family separation and ensuring every child grows up in a safe, nurturing environment. Speaking at the National Learning Event “Ten Years of the Juvenile Justice Act – How Far Have We Come on Disability Inclusion?”, organised by @Keystone_KHS and @KeystoneIndia today in Delhi, our CEO, @KusumMohapatra, emphasised that the safest place for a child is within a supported and confident family. She highlighted how poverty and disability deepen vulnerability and why strengthening families across all pillars of family strengthening is crucial, stressing the need for stronger community systems, a skilled para-social workforce, and meaningful collaboration across stakeholders. When communities take ownership and systems work together, every child has the chance to grow up safe, loved, and included. We express our gratitude to the organisers for convening this platform, which advances our collective efforts to strengthen families and safeguard every child’s well-being. #AFamilyForEveryChild #MiracleAt25
