The latest large-scale (1,778 patients), multi-center (15 centers) observational study is being presented at the American Heart Association (AHA) conference. Arrhythmic Risk with BVP vs LBBAP ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/CI… Key takeaways: Reduced Arrhythmias with LBBAP: LBBAP (Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing) showed a lower incidence of both sustained and non-sustained ventricular tachyarrhythmias (4.2%) compared to BVP (Biventricular Pacing) group (9.3%). Lower Occurrence of Atrial Fibrillation: New onset atrial fibrillation (AF) was less common in patients undergoing LBBAP (2.8%) compared to those with BVP (6.6%). #Cardiology #LBBAP #Conductionsystempacing #CRT

Doing it for most cases with atypical LBBB/IVCD to better understand if lateral wall activation is shortened significantly with CSP. If not, just advance the a CS lead over the vision wire for BiV pacing.

N except for a coated wire and an extra 10 mins to the case, there are no additional resources needed. If CSP fails to shorten time to lateral wall activation, we use that same lead for implantation in the atrium.

✅LBBAP group with⬇️thresholds vs BiV, fewer w ⬆️threshold post-implant, shorter QRS, ⬇️complications ✅LBBAP w ⬇️1' outcome (death HFH), HR 1.45 ✅both groups with ⬆️LVEF, but ⬆️⬆️ in LBBAP group These are terrific findings and very good news for #LBBAP #HRS2023 #2023PaceSetter
