@douglas_neilson @quentindab @BoomRadioUK Yes, unfortunately there are a series of cars with the logos pre-installed and they have to be manually updated with that SD card process. Newer cars should do it automatically

Out of the 60 digital radio stations I can receive in Bristol, 59 of them have @RadioDNS info. Every logo here was found using RadioDNS. (And the one missing one has a broken SI file...). 😁

@DABLIST2 @RedTech_News @cariad_tech We're certainly aware of that problem and how frustrating it is (and it's not just VW Group vehicles affected). Hopefully VW will be able to look at a fix, and we're ready to help if that's appropriate.

@RedTech_News @RadioDNS @cariad_tech What about VW updating the Station Logos in their existing cars? Composition Media, Discover Media und Discover Pro owners are seeing incorrect, misleading, brand-damaging station logos, or no logos at all. No update available for3 years now.

@feralbob @BBC @BBC6Music So with that timing information, you can interpret the NOW (or UTC time) to have an actual offset relative to the latency provided by the broadcaster plus what you know to be your current local buffer length.

Ok - I’m diving into @RadioDNS again - I don’t seem to be able to get any RadioVIS metadata for the @BBC streams - e.g. if I’ve got a stream for @BBC6Music from bbc.co.uk/radio/imda/imd… should I expect to get a icy-stream chunk of metadata or any other fqdn/sid metadata?
