ลูกค้าเยอรมันเคยถามว่า ทำไมโรงงานยูต้องมีเบี้ยขยัน ให้คน ไม่ลา(ยกเว้นลาพักผ่อน) ไม่สาย เราบอกเป็นแรงจูงใจ ให้ขยันมาทำงานไง เมืองไทยต้องมีทั้งนั่นแหละ ฮีบอก ปกติคนไทยไม่ขยันเหรอ การมาทำงานไม่สาย ไม่ลาพร่ำเพรื่อ มันคือพื้นฐานความรับผิดชอบในการทำงานไม่ใช่เหรอ ฝรั่งมันจะรู้อะไร😂

I’m probably going to get dragged for this, but honestly, who cares. I’m so tired of seeing how Western audiences treat Asian BL like it’s somehow “lesser,” like it’s not real art or real storytelling but then turn around and glorify every Western made queer film as if it's the gold standard of representation. Take Call Me By Your Name, for example. People talk about it like it’s the greatest queer story ever put on screen, but if you look past the aesthetics, it’s basically a film that glorifies the director’s own fetish. The age gap, the power dynamics, there’s so much problematic stuff that people conveniently ignore because the movie is beautifully shot and has that “European summer” vibe. It’s wild how easily they overlook all that while being hypercritical of Asian BL for much smaller things. Meanwhile, Asian creators are out here telling nuanced, heartfelt stories, experimenting with themes, culture, and identity in ways Western films rarely touch. But instead of giving those works the same respect, they get brushed off as guilty pleasures. It’s frustrating to watch, because the double standard is so obvious.
