Improving knowledge and support for women with epilepsy (WWE) in a timely manner from preconception to postpartum should be a priority for health services in Ireland and globally, according to new research led by Dr @jadeparnell, Dr Aisling Walsh & colleagues. The researchers explored the resource and information needs of WWE as they navigate complex decisions regarding their reproductive health. Although there are guidelines available to support WWE from preconception to postpartum, to better support WWE, a standardised pathway of care and support must be updated and adopted nationally by all types of healthcare and allied healthcare professionals, according to the researchers. doi.org/10.1016/j.yebe… @NWIHP @epilepsyireland
