Daughter out with anti fascists in Norwich last night protecting a hotel that houses asylum seekers. 100 anti fascists, 10 far right fascists that didn't stay long. Then watched last night's news and cried at so many people coming out to do the right thing.

On this day, 55 years ago, Ellerker and Kitching hounded David Oluwale to his death by drowning at this point near Leeds Bridge, submitted Chief Superintendent John Perkins to their trial in 1971. Judge Hinchcliffe directed their acquittal. They were imprisoned only for assault.
